Visitation starts with the following Baldwin but it is not clear whether or not he is the Baldwin referred to by BP1934 and BLG1886 as the progenitor of this family and as "one of the companions-in-arms of the Conqueror". The postulated dates of birth show that this is quite plausible although we show him as 16 at Hastings and seven generations average age 33 at the birth of the eldest child.
